New York Police Arrest DoorDash Driver Who Allegedly Tried to Flee On Her Moped

The Yonkers Police Department in New York released bodycam footage of officers arresting a DoorDash driver after she allegedly tried to flee on her moped during questioning about an alleged reckless driving incident on July 12. A short video taken by a bystander created outrage after it surfaced on social media. Police say the bystander’s video didn’t tell the whole story. When the woman got on her moped, officers apprehended her and one officer threw her to the ground while she claimed she wasn’t resisting.
