CAIIGO | Design: Marco Zito

The mist which rises from the lagoon in the morning gives way to a rarefied, dreamlike light, a vision which inspired the Caiigo suspension lamp. In Venetian dialect caiigo means fog and the blown glass used for the lamp’s diffuser emerged from a tradition which stretches back a thousand years in this lagoon city. Its characteristic nuanced effect, somewhere between white and transparent, is the result of the artisan expertise of master glass-makers who make every single lamp unique.
