Her shrill cry of pain when held was disturbing. Because she started getting smelly and infested with sarcoptic mange she was thrown away, left on the streets to fend on her own. She smelled food among garbage where street dogs feed, and she was bullied and bitten, as seen by the puncture wounds oozing pus when we had her given emergency medical treatment!
