It’s the fourth single from ‘Endless’ and it’s largely thanks to my Mum that this record exists today! I wrote ‘All Night Long’ in one studio session back in February 2021. I rushed together a placeholder arrangement to play at two shows I had the coming weekend in San Francisco (Hotel Via Rooftop). That weekend, I also debuted the track on Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Club Quarantine’ show, in Dave’s back yard! The idea then became lost in a private playlist of unfinished ideas that my Mum would listen to from time to time at my Soundcloud. Mum kept telling me that this was one of her absolute favourites. She wanted it on in the car when I was home with her and it was the first tune she played to show off her new home stereo to me. Mum’s love and enthusiasm for the record inspired me to blow the dust off the project and finish it! Keeping the core idea the same, I took the groove in a new direction and everything clicked into place. It’s one of Mum’s favourite’s on ‘Endless’.
