Chin jab in Aikido

The chin jab as explained by William E. Fairbairn and demonstrated by Tamura Nobuyoshi Sensei from Aikido and military close combat have a common history in the (pre) WW2 era. Osensei reportedly argued against killing even at that time but he taught potentially lethal techniques in military schools. The chin jab is such an example.
