Game Boy Advance Longplay [099] Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon

Played by: Mad-Matt Here is THQ’s effort to get Star Wars Trilogy onto the poor ole GBA. As a playstation game this may have turned out to be a much more enjoyable, larger and faster game. Instead it was squeezed onto the gba in it’s incredibly blocky low res pixel glory and the gba just doe not have the power to make the game a smooth and enjoyable experience. The deathstar approach seems to take forever as its hard to aim at the tie fighters and controls can seem over sensitive. Some of the ground levels are very, very forgiving and you can clip right through the buildings. I have also recorded a bonus video which can be downloaded which shows off the bonus mini-game. I play upto 100 levels at which point I ad had enough as it seems to be endless. The game is probably not meant to be played this far as by this stage the enemies are near enough indestructible and you just end up looking for a safe spot to drift through to the end of the level.
