Southport stabbings: Two children killed in attack, police confirm

Two children have died after a number of people were stabbed in Southport, north of Liverpool, this morning. Nine other children have been injured and six of them are in a critical condition. All of the injured children were stabbed, police said. Chief Constable Serena Kennedy described the attack as “ferocious“.
