‘Voters have had enough’: People in the UK ‘anxious’ to discuss British values

UK professor and academic Matthew Goodwin claims many people in the UK are “anxious” to talk about unifying British values because they are being told there is “something wrong with being British”. “I think lots of voters have had enough of that, which is why people like Nigel Farage are doing so well at all general elections,” he told Sky News Australia. It follows riots which broke out in Leeds after police tried to assist social workers dealing with a child welfare issue.
