Steve Smith Drumset Solo Theme & Development

Steve Smith embarks on a free-flowing solo drumset exploration of textures, thematic development and melodic grooves. He has integrated his Zildjian Gong into the kit, bringing additional color and tonal possibilities to this solo, which is an organic blend of motif and improvisation. Steve employs multiple stick and pedal techniques, using a wide variety of Vic Firth sticks and mallets to express his creativity in the percussive arts.
