Frozen Night - Unity

This is by far the largest and most complex project I’ve made to date, and fairly difficult to write. It originally was going to be for The Magic of Nature, and my project log says it was started in January of 2017, but I couldn’t get it to meld well with the theme of the EP, not to mention I lacked a lot of the instruments back then that I now have today that were required. If some of you are familiar with that EP you may notice a familiar melody at 3:35 that I could not part with, and felt it must be there to give one final callback to everything I put into that album. I suppose in a sense, this would be Movement VI, but I feel it is its own entity. The picture I commissioned for this song is an interesting one. I wanted to return to a forest-like landscape akin to the EP, but have the scene sort of depict a conclusion to the whole arc, that is, it’s set at dusk, and my character looking glum and contemplative.
