DIY Succulent Pumpkin Planter || West Coast Gardens

() We love succulents any time of the year! In the Autumn season we think it’s a great idea to tuck our favourite home grown succulent plants into a pumpkin planter (like this white ceramic one) to create a cute fall or Thanksgiving centrepiece. We started by putting stones in the bottom of the planter, as our pot has no drainage holes. The stones will help to keep excess water out of the soil, so the succulents don’t get soggy if you happen to overwater them. Then we used potting soil to fill up our pumpkin planter. Three 4“ succulents take up most of the space, but by tucking in a few ’string of beans’ and ’burro’s tail’ succulents, we made sure the planter looked overflowing. We love how the hanging plants look, and how they bring the whole design together. Choose your favourite succulents and create your own pumpkin for the season! 😍 ♥️ RESOURCES || LINKS ♥️ 🌸 More DIY
