« Your skin, oh yeah, your skin and bones Turn into something beautiful You know, you know I love you so » I LOVED this movie, I was really exited about it since I first saw the trailer, it looked amazing and it didn’t disappoint. It glissed over some parts of the story but generally it’s really well done, every frame looked like a picture and it’s amazing how some parts remined me of wes anderson’s movies. The chemistry between Emma and Mr. Knightley was off the charts, I loved it and I loved how it kept increasing more and more as the movies went on. I’m usually a sucker for everything Jane Austen related but this movie is so well done that I would have loved it anyway. The dance scene is probably the best dance scene in all the austenverse, I can’t stop rewatching it. Autumn de Wilde s a genius and so far this is probably one of my favourite Emma’s adaptations.
