5 Fan Showdown 2021 - Which one is right for your rig?

It’s been a while since we’ve done a 5 PC Fan Showdown not dominated by RGB fans and we think it’s time to remedy that. This time, with a splash of color! We’ve got some interesting contestants for this 5 fan showdown. This time we’re going to look at fans that you’ve likely never heard of, save for one. There’s always one! This time we’ve got some colorful contenders all priced $25 and below. Here’s our testing plan: We’ll test direct airflow using an anemometer and a 3D-printed housing we’ve created to duct air. Next, we’ll run the same test again with the fans attached to a radiator and ducted through another design we’ve created. Then we’ll test the amount of noise the fan creates above the ambient room noise level. To evenly compare these fans, we’ll test all of them at 1700 RPM.
