Lian Li LANCOOL 207 - Full Build! [NEW CASE!]

Chill out and watch this gaming PC build in the new LIAN LI LANCOOL 207! This build features an i9 12900K and an RTX 4070Ti Gaming X Trio. Please comment with your questions and I will answer them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you LIAN LI for sending this unique case over! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, I enjoyed working with this case. I appreciate the thought/engineering that went into designing it. Why aren’t more manufacturers moving the PSU to the front of the chassis? The case felt solid and well-made. The panels/panel gaps lined up perfectly with my unit. There are tiny areas for improvement, though. Some clever details: - I appreciated the inclusion of two different 24-pin power routing channels/cutouts. You can use the cutout closer to the motherboard tray for smaller/thinner power cables, or the further rubber grommet cutout for bigger, thicker power cables like the Lian Li Strimers, or the AsiaHorse cable extensions I used in this build. - Lian Li have included 25mm long screws for mounting your own front fans to the case, as well the the standard 30mm screws used on the pre-installed front ARGB fans. Nice touch there. Temps/benchmarks: the CPU/GPU temperatures were phenomenal in my testing. The CPU never went above 70° C, and the GPU stayed in the low 60° area consistently. The fans were running at high RPM’s in testing, but in casual use/gaming with the fan curves tuned to quiet, the temperatures stayed completely under control; very similar to the numbers found in testing. PROS: - 30mm thick front fans for maximum airflow - GPU intake fans for maximum GPU cooling - All panels are easily removed without tools - Good quality velcro straps in rear for cable management - CRAZY good airflow - Compact design - Feels well-made CONS: - Not enough cable tie-down points on the rear of the case (besides velcro straps) - The rear compartment of the case needs to be a few millimeters wider to accommodate cable management At $, this case is a good value considering it comes with quiet, nice looking, pre-installed ARGB front fans, as well as two pre-installed GPU intake fans. This case would have been perfect for a first time builder if it had more room in the rear for cable management, but I would still have no problem recommending it to a first timer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Specs: - CPU: Intel Core i9 12900K - GPU: MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING X TRIO WHITE - Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI - RAM: 32GB Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6000 C36 - PSU: Asus ROG Strix 850W White - CPU Cooler: NZXT Z73 Kraken - Fans: 4x Lian Li SL120 V1, stock 140mm Lian Li front fans, and stock bottom GPU intake fans - Storage: 2TB Crucial P5 Plus NVME SSD - Cable extensions: ASIAHORSE - Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 207 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Benchmarks: - All panels installed - Fan layout as seen in video - Room temp 22° C - Pump @ 100% (~2800 RPM) - All CPU/case fans @ 100% - GPU fans @ Auto fan speed - CPU/GPU: stock tuning - Nvidia driver: - Windows 11 (22631) - 1440p 165Hz monitor CPU-Z Stress Test - 100% Load - 15 minutes: - CPU: 64° C Cinebench 2024 CPU Multi Core - 100% Load: - Score: 1482 - CPU: 70° C Furmark - 1440p Benchmark: - 12518 points (208 FPS) Furmark - 1440p 15 Minute Torture Test: - GPU: 60°C - Avg FPS: 242 - Power draw: 285 W - Fans @ 32% (Auto) Unigine Superposition 2017 - 4K Optimized Benchmark: - Score: 18839 - Avg FPS: 141 - GPU: 63° C Max Counter Strike 2 - 1440 Very High: - FPS: ~260 Call of Duty MW3 - 1440 Extreme (DLSS: Quality): - GPU: 50° C - Avg FPS: 240 Hell Divers 2 - 1440 Native Ultra: - Avg FPS: 117 - GPU: 51° C Forza Horizon 5 Benchmark - 1440 Extreme (no DLSS): - FPS: 126 Forza Motorsport 7 Benchmark - 1440 Ultra: - Avg FPS: 252 Fortnite - 1440 High Preset: - Avg FPS: ~105 Rocket League - 1440 High - Avg FPS: ~590 🫡 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters: 0:00 Unboxing 1:09 Prepping the Motherboard 2:27 Back to the Case 2:51 Case Features 3:26 Let’s Build 9:44 WILL IT BOOT? 10:14 Montage Time -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All music from Epidemic Sound Thank you for watching!!!
