Hold Rich World Accountable For Global Warming - Kenya President

Kenyan President William Ruto is urging wealthy nations to take responsibility for their role in driving global warming and to take action to combat the resulting climate change. Despite being the least responsible for carbon emissions, poorer countries, particularly those in Africa, have been disproportionately affected by the impact of climate change, such as increased droughts and floods. Speaking on the sidelines of the African Union summit in Addis Ababa, where climate change was a key topic, Ruto emphasized the need for a “paradigm shift.“ He called for a complete overhaul of international financial institutions to ensure they are better equipped to address climate change and its effects on the world’s most vulnerable populations. By holding rich countries accountable and working to address climate change on a global scale, Ruto believes that we can make significant progress in protecting our planet and its inhabitants. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬`
