Российские саперы приступили к разминированию н.п. Пальмира

A group of Russian sappers who arrived to Hmeymim air base departed Latakia province for the city of Palmyra for their mine clearance mission. Russian bomb disposal units were deployed to Syria in order to assist the Syrian Army which has been very busy with demining of the region of Palmyra after liberating it from the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants.
