Breaking Bad vs. Better Call Saul | Versus

Welcome to Versus! In one corner you have Breaking Bad, the show that debuted in 2008 and kept building a steady audience as we all realized, that show with the dad from Malcolm in the Middle is really good…by the end of its run, we could forgive Bryan Cranston for accusing Jerry of being an anti-dentite on Seinfeld. In the other corner it’s Better Call Saul, the follow-up before the events of Breaking Bad…it had big shoes to fill, but one of the guys from Mr. Show led the way, and it ended up being so good we’ll forgive Bob Odenkirk for one time pretending he was Kevin Costner. And since I’ll be judging the merits of these two ne’er-do-wells who you somehow kinda still root for, let’s also give a nod to Tony Soprano, whose devilish ways paved the road for shows like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul to vroom through.
