Rec. circa 1930. One of the most beautiful recordings of this masterpiece.
Paul Kochanski, violin(1887-1934)
Artur Rubinstein, piano (1887-1982)
The full Sonata is available on josephszygeti’s channel -
Arthur Rubinstein recorded only one work with his best friend, the great violinist Paul Kochanski, as only some years later after this recording Kochanski died at the age of 46, but it is one of the most beautiful recordings of this Sonata. So natural, unaffected, and yet so full of inner passion.
