“Premiere of ’Silo’: New Sci-Fi Series Draws Celebrities to London’s Iconic Battersea Power Station“

Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins and Common were among the stars attending the premiere of their new dystopian drama “Silo“ at London’s Battersea Power Station on Tuesday (April 25). The post-apocalyptic series is set in a mysterious multi-storey silo deep underground, where the last remaining people have been sheltering for hundreds of years from what they are told is a toxic environment on the surface of the Earth. Strict rules are in place to protect the community of survivors, who are also kept in the dark over the origins of their home. Ferguson plays engineer Juliette, whose suspicions are aroused when she seeks answers to a loved one’s death and she becomes determined to expose the secrets of the silo. “I love the political, the geopolitical, these environmental questions that it involves. I love the character arc. And it was huge, it was a big shoot. It was long, it was massive sets,“ the 39-year-old Swedish actor told Reuters on the red carpet. Rob
