Led Zeppelin June 1972 compilation, new and improved!

In June of 1972 Zeppelin set off on their next US tour. After playing two warm-up concerts in Amsterdam and Brussels respectively they landed in the US opening the tour with a show at Detroit’s Cobo Hall. They travel throughout the east coast, then the pacific northwest, and finally California [with a brief stop in Denver ;)]. The tour is overall pretty fantastic. Jimmy tops many of their previous tours playing wise (though he is arguably just as good in Aussie 72) and is remarkably fast and consistent. JPJ and Bonham increase their musical muscles. The only true dead weight is Robert. After his amazing performance in Amsterdam his voice quickly weakened. The openers for shows like Montreal and San Bernadino feature Rob in pretty horrendous form and Immigrant Song would quickly be moved to an encore spot afterwards. That being said he still gives some amazing performances and proves for the most part that he still got it. Fair warning: because I tried to include everything on the tour there are some wack transitions. The most agregious is probably the transition to Louie Louie (I really really love the crowd reaction in Seattle) but sadly LA and Denver are played in a different key making it sound off when it transitions. Overall I’d say I did a good job and I really hope you enjoy it.
