It’s hard being yourself when who and what you are isn’t socially acceptable. This video captures the limitations of self expression and identity within my own life. Having the space to be myself, even if only for a while, is incredibly important but it always hurts when it ends. I will continue to push myself in finding new ways and places to feel closer to who I am. I am Valira and I am a demon.
