I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Josh Lawson and Sisi Stringer of Warner Bros. MORTAL KOMBAT film. They talk about the pressures of playing iconic characters in such an enormous franchise, and the experience of shooting a gigantic Hollywood production in Australia. “In “Mortal Kombat,” MMA fighter Cole Young, accustomed to taking a beating for money, is unaware of his heritage—or why Outworld’s Emperor Shang Tsung has sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero, an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt Cole down.
