Musa Motha’s inspiring dance moves Britain to tears and cheers
Musa Motha, a South African expat and dancer, has made history by becoming the first act to receive the group Golden Buzzer from all four judges on Britain’s Got Talent 2023. Musa, who lost his leg to cancer when he was young, delivered an uplifting and inspiring dance performance at the semi-finals that moved the audience and the judges to tears and cheers.
Musa, who moved to London recently, said he had always dreamed of being on the BGT stage and hoped to inspire a lot of people with his story. He said his dancing friends taught him how to dance with his crutch and that his mantra was to turn ‘impossible’ into I’m Possible.
His performance was met with a standing ovation from everyone in the theatre, including Simon Cowell, who said he had never seen such a reaction before. The audience then chanted ‘Golden Buzzer’ repeatedly until the judges agreed to press it together for the first time ever.
Musa was overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude as he thanked everyone for their support. He
