Bloom Technique Double Swipe Acrylic Pour with Gorgeous Iridescent Colours
I used the bloom technique pouring medium to create an acrylic pour swipe using mostly iridescent colours. I dipped the swipe tool rather than laying the swipe colour on the colours as I find I have more control this way and I also save on the volume I need which is always a bonus, especially when it contains expensive ingredients (see below).
Colours used:
Pebeo iridescent in precious gold mixed with dispersed Mennyo mica powder in gold. Pebeo iridescent in violet blue, green yellow, blue green and blue black. DecoArt extreme sheen in lavender frost and Amsterdam metallics in bronze.
Cell activator:
Amsterdam standard in oxide black mixed with Australian flood floetrol and water (4/1). I roughly mix 1 part paint to 3 parts floetrol water mix
