“Being an Artist during the Covid Era” is an independent investigative report featuring interviews with 15 artists from 15 countries. Made by artists, it is dedicated to all their peers afflicted by the Covid pandemic and state-imposed restrictions. With this film we lend a shoulder of support to all our noble colleagues in different parts of the world who, even during this time of hardship, put their art above their daily needs and still remain creators. We do believe this topic must be covered in the media to make the public aware that art and culture were dealt a severe blow. But they could still prove to be exactly the remedy this world needs so badly. Art and culture will not protect you from the virus — no, but they might keep your soul immune from corruption.
