- The Senate is slated to vote today on whether to impose a spate of new sanctions against Russia over allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. The vote comes only one day after the much-anticipated testimony of Attorney General Jeff Sessions before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
