Guided weapon system Kitolov-2M (Универсальный УАС Китолов-2М)

The system is intended to defeat single and group, stationary and moving, armoured and soft-skinned targets and engineer facilities by towed and self-propelled 122mm artillery systems. Kitolov-2M ensures: first-shot target hit without fire adjustment; defeat of group dispersed targets at permanent fire mission settings; firing with incomplete meteorological data; target kill by penetrating its top (least protected part); salvo (deliberate) fire with a 20-25 s interval and laser re-aiming at neighbouring targets during an interval between target illumination sessions. The Malakhit portable automated fire control system provides for targets detection and designation (including night operations), topographical survey and orientation of fire position and command-observation post, automated computation of fire settings. The application of the Kitolov-2M system significantly enhances the effectiveness of battalion-level artillery firstly owing to its direct target hit
