Yes - the model name is spelled “Galaxie“....and why it is, I’m not exactly sure - maybe Kay was inspired by the Ford Galaxie? Who knows... It’s a beautiful guitar, and the first Kay I’ve owned with one of those amazing “Kleenex-Box“ Barney Kessel pickups!
