Toboggan sleds do not corner! 2. 90 degree corners are not good in the first 200 yards with a fresh team. 3. Try not to let go! 4. Don’t panic, stay calm. 5. Finish the run so the dogs have a positive experience. 6. It could have been worse! After this experience we didn’t run out of the driveway again, downhill 90 degree turns do not turn out well! All hookups on the sled start on a straightaway. We’re very lucky no dogs were seriously injured and none of the equipment was damaged. I’m thankful the leaders stopped around 1/4 mi realizing I was not on the sled and something was wrong.
