Dilruba is a rare stringed instrument from India. “Dilruba” name is translated as “thief of the heart.“ It is a young instrument by Indian standards, being only about 200-300 years old. it is used in religious music and light classical songs in urban areas. Its a combination of Sitar & Sarangi . Its bowed musical instrument and a rare instrument of India. It is used in many Sikh Kirtans and counted Sikh Religious instruments.
