“I try to think about what I have and what I want, instead of what I don’t have and what I miss.” 💯 Bosila Banya, aka B-Boy Junior, is famous in the breaking scene for his super-human strength and handstand acrobatics. He is a second-generation member of the Wanted Posse, a member of the Red Bull BC One All Stars and the Flying Steps. Under his belt are dozens of battle wins with his crews, spanning all the way from Battle of the Year in 2001 [Wanted Posse], up to winning the Checkmate Battle 2019 with the Red Bull BC One All Stars. His unique breaking style, where he focuses on his arms and hands, is the result of his pursuit to transform what others may perceive as a weakness, into his strength. “I contracted polio when I was three years old. The difference between me and the other kids became evident when I realized that I couldn’t run as fast as them. But I’ve never given in. Whenever people would make me feel I couldn’t do something, I worked extra hard to prove them wrong. I have always tried to turn my disability into an advantage.“ Apart from breaking, B-Boy Junior is very passionate about the African culture and is pursuing different individual projects with the goal of helping young dancers in Ghana. 🙌 --- It’s been 10 YEARS of the Red Bull BC One All Stars.
