China increases number of freight trains running to Europe
China has increased the number of freight trains running to and from Europe, doubling the transportation efficiency.
Starting from July 1, the one weekly regular freight train from the major transportation hub in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, to Duisburg in Germany will become two every week.
China introduced a unified freight train schedule to and from Europe in 2022, with one train a week.
