Combat work of the Gyacinth-S self-propelled gun crew Artillerymen from Sakhalin continue combat work in the South Donetsk direction of the special military operation around the clock and in any weather. Crews of 2S5 Gyacinth-S self-propelled artillery units are conducting counter-battery combat, striking at ammunition depots, strongholds and concentrations of enemy manpower. Firing is carried out with 152-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells at a distance of up to 30 km. Since the beginning of the special operation, the artillery battery of the army corps of the Vostok group of forces has hit hundreds of enemy targets, including US-made 155-mm M777 howitzers, 122-mm D-30 howitzers, mortars of various calibers and other weapons and equipment of Ukrainian militants.
