Development and testing of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles based on experience of the special military operation, as well as communications equipment and portable drone detectors, has been organised at one of new training grounds in rear area of the special military operation. The UAVs being developed have a wide range of capabilities for using various types of munitions and reconnaissance capabilities, day and night, in simple and difficult weather conditions. During the tests, UAV operators are practising the destruction of targets simulating enemy shelters, command posts and military equipment, using various types of dropable munitions and kamikaze drones. The organisation of development and testing of promising UAVs intended for accelerated delivery to units performing combat missions was checked by Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Ruslan Tsalikov.
