Sambutsuge – Hymns in Praise of the Buddha (Amidaji style), by Josho Adrian Cirlea & Kosho Arana
Sambutsuge – Hymns in Praise of the Buddha is a fragment from the Larger Sutra in which Dharmakara Bodhisattva, the future Amida Buddha, admires His Master, Lokesvararaja Buddha and promises that He will become a Savior of all beings. You can find the phonetical recitation and the English translation in my book, Worshipping Amida Buddha - Liturgies and ceremonies of Amidaji Temple, page 40 - click here to download the book for free or buy the printed version,
This Sambutsuge liturgy was recorded during the Nembutsu retreat at Amidaji temple in Romania on the occasion of the first monk ordination in our branch of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism about which you can read at this link,
Sorry for a few mistakes we did during the recitation. It was recorded after a long and exhausting day.
