‘Absolutely astounding’: Government to let in 700,000 migrants by end of financial year

Sky News host Liz Storer says it is “absolutely astounding” for the government to be letting in 700,000 migrants by the end of the financial. Ms Storer says the Labor government were seen to “open the floodgates” to immigrants despite having “no idea” how it will support them. “Do we have ample jobs, more pressingly do we have ample housing,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “We all know the answer to that very simple question is absolutely not. “Yet we’re continually being told we can expect 700,000 more immigrants coming into this country before the end of this financial year – that is absolutely astounding.”
