Chris, a young boy who has lived his whole life in a sterile glass room due to a rare immune system disease, falls in love with a sexy rock singer, Ally. He writes to her and the two meet. Eventually, they fall passionately in love with one another, despite the interference of Ally’s sleazy manager who tries to sensationalize the couple’s love affair for publicity purposes. Chris finally steps outside to spend one idyllic day with Ally, but soon after he falls ill, and the two must face the inevitable.
