RC Waco Piston/Jet engine Biplane, 2013 Waco Fly-In. During the 2013 Annual WACO Homecoming & Fly-In, the on field RC club, the RC Barnstormers, was asked to give a flying demonstration. One of the three performers was Terry Hahn and his beautiful scale 1940 Waco RC airplane. Terry’s airplane is a scale model of Jimmy Franklin’s famous jet and piston powered 1940 JPF-7 Waco he used with his infamous “Masters of Disaster“ airshow.
