Nostalgia | Bike Restoration Build | 1994 Kona Explosif

Since I sold my Kona mountain bike back in the 90’s I have missed the feel of a great steel hardtail mountain bike. Restoring this 1994 Kona Explosif and updating it by welding on disk brake mounts and giving it a new fresh paint job using spray paint was a fun project to do, and truly a selfish one at that. I hope you have enjoyed coming along with me for the ride into the past and back to the present. For more content on my builds follow Oldshovel on Instagram and Facebook.
