Flash flooding sparks chaos in San Diego after three inches of rain falls

Intense rain in San Diego brought on unprecedented levels of flash flooding on Monday 22 January. The floods occurred after more than three inches of rain fell on the Californian city in three hours. Flooding brought much of the city to a standstill with key Interstate 15 badly affected.
