Testing a shellac turntable based on the Garrard tonearm of 1927

I was lucky to get the tonearm in the USA. Condition - new in the package and even in full completeness - tonearm stand and volume control !!! Unfortunately, the native cables decayed and had to be replaced with Soviet ones from the 40s. In the cartridge head, the damper gasket turned to stone and crumbled when touched. Temporarily cut the damper out of the bike tube. The sound is thoroughbred, but you still need to choose something from modern material for the damper. Possibly silicone based. But for now I’ll listen and so)))
