Also featured surf music, Motown rock, the Beatles, the British invasion of music to America, breakdancing and the 2nd wave of Brit’s in the “new wave“ movement. Aired on 7/21/1984. The Studio K Pavilion was the most successful teen dance facility in the nation, It opened with this Dick Clark Special, “Rock Rolls On“.
