Timelapse of 11 years driving around Mars with the Opportunity Rover

NASA’s Opportunity rover has ’run’ a science marathon (and then some!) on the Red Planet, traveling over 26.2 miles. The Mars Exploration Rover team compiled ‘Hazcam’ imagery (2004 - 2015), combined with terrain vibration data, odometer readings and made a map to track the journey. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
