Новошотландский мохноногий сыч / Northern Saw-whet Owl / Aegolius acadicus

The Northern Saw-Whet Owl is the second smallest in the Pacific NW-the smallest being the Northern Pygmy-owl. This little guy is a juvenile , his markings have not yet fully come in. He came to us after hitting a residents sliding glass door. These are great little mousers and nest in shrubs and bushes
