Ukrainian drone hits oil processing facility in Russia, officials say
(12 Mar 2024) A Ukrainian drone hit an oil processing facility Tuesday in the Nizhny Novgorod region, causing a fire, said regional governor Gleb Nikitin.
Videos posted on social media showed heavy fire and smoke in the area.
Damage from the fire was not detailed, but the attack was notable because the region is well inside Russia, about 775 kilometres (480 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
