A pod of orcas playing with a Mola Mola sunfish - Walindi Resort, Kimbe Bay PNG

An incredible out of season encounter with two incredibly rare species in Kimbe Bay, Papua New Guinea. 7 orcas (2 male, 2 female, 3 calves) were playing with a mola mola sunfish. They push it to the surface and repeated take it down deep as well. In this video you have see a female carrying the mola mola by resting it between its fins and its chin. The encounter lasted over 2 hours and we were able to jump in the water with them. They were incredibly inquisitive. A huge thank you to Walindi Plantation Resor
