HA-MRF, Kamov Ka-26 - Spraying sunflower

Spraying sunflower field with fungicide. This helicopter was manufactured in 1978 in Kumertau (Russia) as the third airframe of the last (65th) batch. Only five Ka-26 was built in mass production after this one! Now this is the younges airworthy Ka-26 all over the world. She came to Hungary with tail number 6503 and got registration HA-MRF, as the hundredth brand new helicopter of the hungarian Ka-26 fleet. After the RSz ceased she was bought by a private company and used her for passenger flights, but as the time passed she returned back only for agricultural flights. In 2017, another company purchased this helicopter and for two years she was used for mosquito control tasks. In 2020, MRF almost left without work due to some restriction that have been introduced in aerial mosquito controlling.
