Another Sad Olympus Camedia Digital Camera - Olympus Camedia C-740UZ

In this video in my show and tell series, I’m featuring the Olympus Camedia C-740UZ. I came out on March 2nd, 2003, and I got it from Goodwill’s online auction store. It’s a pretty sad digital camera since it’s dirty and has pieces of plastic broken off. Also, although it says that it uses AA batteries, I couldn’t get AA batteries to work with it. I’ve even tried fully charged ones. However, I used two proprietary rechargeable CRV3 batteries and the work just fine. The digital camera turns on when I use them with it. Another thing about this digital camera is that when I tried to use a 2GB xD-Picture card with it, it wouldn’t read it and it’d give me a “Card Format Error“. I also tried to use a 1GB xD-Picture card with it and I got the same result as the 2GB one. However, I used a 16MB xD-Picture card with it and it worked just fine. It was able to recognize that card.
