Pocketful of Miracles (1961) - Glenn Ford, Bette Davis & Hope Lange

Pocketful of Miracles is a 1961 comedy film starring Bette Davis and Glenn Ford, and directed by Frank Capra. A New York gangster and his girlfriend attempt to turn street beggar Apple Annie into a society lady when the peddler learns her daughter is marrying royalty. The film proved to be the final project for both Capra and veteran actor Thomas Mitchell but also featured the film debut of Ann-Margret. Supporting player Peter Falk was nominated for an Academy Award. Hope Lange and Arthur O’Connell also costar.
