Who dies right in front of her. Then Legolas realizes that he had never belonged to her, nor her to him. So he leaves for a new life and well in doing so as we all know finds his new lover Aragorn and a best friend who’s a dwarf! so all turns out swell ;) And also, I thought this song was so lovely.
